Jewel In The Crown is the 18th studio album by folk rock band Fairport Convention which is viewed by many as the best record produced by the line-up which had been formed in 1985 for the one-off project Gladys' Leap. While few of the tracks were self-penned, it features tracks from many of the band's favourite writers including Huw Williams, Ralph McTell and Julie Matthews.

Wolfmother’s third album, New Crown, has arrived online with no marketing, no promo and no great push. With a line-up featuring Stockdale, bassist/keyboardist Ian Peres and drummer Vin Steele, the new recording is a return to Wolfmother’s psychedelic rock origins. The 11-track set was recorded at Mates Rehearsal Studios in . and at Stockdale’s multi-purpose studio the Shed in Byron Bay, Australia. The album can be streamed and downloaded from Bandcamp. Stockdale had mulled over releasing the album under the Wolfmother moniker, but decided he wanted to change tack. For the last three years I’ve performed as Wolfmother, and I don’t feel comfortable about it, Stockdale told Billboard. The band went on to perform a final show in support of Aerosmith in Melbourne, but the Wolfmother name clearly has a lifeforce of its own.
