Faust - The Faust Tapes download flac

Possibly the best track from the superb "Faust Tapes" album.

The Faust Tapes is the third album by Faust. The album is very similar to the first Faust album as it contains two long tracks. However, these two songs are made up of multiple smaller songs, instead of being continous tracks

The Faust Tapes is the third album by the German krautrock group Faust, released in 1973. The album sold well in the United Kingdom (60,000 copies) because of a marketing gimmick by Virgin Records that saw it go on sale for the price of a single. This exposure introduced British audiences to Faust. Recommended Records reissued the album on LP in 1980, and on CD in 1996 and 2001, both mastered from vinyl sources.

The Faust Tapes" is yet another Faust masterpiece in which their collage-oriented ideology meets a more robust and aggressive expression than in their debut album (which was, indeed, quite intense)  . The Faust Tapes" is the 3rd full-length studio album by German krautrock act Faust. The album was released in 1973 through Virgin Records. The album is quite the oddity as it was originally sold for the price of a single to increase the UK audiences interest in Faust.

Faust (German for "fist") is the debut studio album by the experimental music band Faust. It was released in 1971 on Polydor Records. Although it was never a commercial success, Faust has garnered much acclaim from rock critics.

This was the release that "broke" Faust to a British audience, mostly because of a marketing gimmick whereby the then-infant Virgin label sold it in shops for half a pound. Still, it's no mean feat to sell 50,000 copies of rock this avant-garde, no matter what the cost

I love this album so much, but where is the original (superior) artwork?
They didn't Bridget Riley's permission to use her painting, Crest, which is featured on the original cover. Because of this, they've never been able to use to the art on any reissue, which is a shame given that the original was by far the best cover art for the album.
Such a wonderful band... strange though, how ReR used this art work for "the Faust Tapes" reissue LP(2010), being that the same artwork was also used for "Munic & Elsewhere" (1986)... hence was this an error on someones part? ...or they just ran out of ideas for artwork?
