Sound + Vision is David Bowie's box set compilation released on Rykodisc in 1989. By the end of the 1980s, the rights to Bowie's pre-1983 catalogue originally issued by (Phillips/Mercury Records and RCA Records) reverted to Bowie and his former management company MainMan. Rykodisc had approached Bowie in 1988 to re-release albums on CD and Bowie agreed, and in September 1989 the Sound + Vision box set was released

Produced by Tony Visconti & David Bowie. Album Low. Sound and Vision Lyrics. Don't you wonder sometimes 'Bout sound and vision. Blue, blue, electric blue That's the colour of my room Where I will live Blue, blue Pale blinds drawn all day Nothing to do, nothing to say Blue, blue I will sit right down Waiting for the gift of sound and vision And I will sing, waiting for the gift of sound and vision Drifting into my solitude Over my head.

Sound And Vision (оригинал David Bowie). Звук и образ (перевод VeeWai). Don't you wonder sometimes. Неужели ты никогда не задумываешься. Waiting for the gift of sound and vision, И буду ждать дара от звука и образа, And I will sing. Waiting for the gift of sound and vision, В ожидании дара от звука и образа, Drifting into my solitude.

The album, Bowie’s 13th studio and the last of the so called ‘Berlin trilogy, was not, by his standards, a major commercial success. Indifferently received by critics on its initial release, it is now widely considered to be among Bowie's most underrated albums. Although grouped with Low and Heroes as a Berlin album it was actually recorded in Switzerland and New York. Several of the songs were not performed live by Bowie so this is a rare opportunity to hear them performed. The Genius of David Bowie:Sound and Vision youtube. David Bowie - DJ (Official Video).

When the format was in its infancy, RCA had issued several of his classics, but those pressings were notoriously awful and were pulled from the market in 1985 when Bowie acquired the rights to the recordings. Sharp businessman that he is, he took the catalog to market, and after an intense bidding war, he chose to reissue his classic work through Rykodisc, an independent CD-only label that had earned acclaim for its work with Frank Zappa's catalog.

'Sound and Vision" is a song and single by David Bowie which appeared on the album ''Low'' in 1977. These were drawn from the cocaine-fueled paranoia the singer had lived in while residing in Los Angeles.

A documentary, which takes you on a journey of Bowie's revolutionary career, struggle with his personal life and his achievements and successes. Features interviews with Bowie, Iman his wife, his musical contemporaries including Iggy Pop, Moby and Trent Reznor. 2011 marked the 40th anniversary of the album’s release and this program goes into detail of how the album came about, its recording and what was happening to the band at the time. The story is told through interviews with Ray Manzarek, Robbie Krieger and John Densmore plus contributions from Jac Holzman, founder of their label Elektra Records, Bill Siddons, who was their manager, Bruce Botnick, engineer and co-producer of the album and others associated with The Doors at this time.

Album: Low. Fordítások: Francia, Görög, Holland, Horvát, Spanyol, Szerb. A A. Sound And Vision. Bout sound and vision? Blue, electric blue. That's the colour of my room where I will live.
